  Every once in a while something happens caused by an ignorant fool that leaves you dumbfounded. I went last week with my son for dinner to this restaurant. I have been there before and the food has always been acceptable. I have no complaints with the food. The Hibachi experience with a guy throwing eggs and knives around is getting a bit old, but kids love it so why not. My son wanted The Hibachi shrimp and I wanted Sushi. Something I've done at other places. I was ordering 34 dollars worth of Sushi for myself, more than any Hibachi dish. The waiter then informs me that I have to order Hibachi to sit there. I told him I didn't want it and I wanted to sit next to my son. The place was not crowded and many seats were available. I then ask for the manager in disbelief thinking he would apologize and thank me for being a good patron. He then tells me that I have to order Hibachi to sit there. In order to comply, I order 2 Hibachi shrimps for children in addition to my Sushi and was going to give them both to my son. He then says that I have to order an adult size, not the minor. Obviously this entire interchange is embarrassing. He then says that he would let it go this time, but never again. I told him there would never be another time because I would never go again. I cannot under stand how the ownership could hire such an idiot to be a manager. Embarrassing a customer who wants to spend more money. This idiocy probably impacts on otter thongs such as quality of food and cleanliness behind the scenes. I will never go again.
